We are a thriving local cricket club, located in the shadow of the Wrekin, involved in the Shropshire County Cricket League and the Shrewsbury & District Evening League.
We field two Saturday League teams and one Midweek XI, in the 20/20 evening league. In addition these teams we have a wonderful junior section for children aged 6 – 13 years old. In 2023 we welcomed the Wroxeter Wreckers Women’s Softball team into the club.
The ground borders the village of Uppington, has easy access, and a large, safe and secure parking area. The well maintained ground is surrounded by farmland and beautiful scenery. There is ample space for children to play. The clubhouse offers a large, comfortable seating area including a fully stocked bar and dance floor. Large panoramic windows overlook the pitch and views of the Wrekin. There is a fitted kitchen and recently improved ladies cloakroom. The clubhouse is fronted by a pleasant verandah which provides seating area for players, scorers and spectators. We are happy to allow the clubhouse to be hired for your private functions and parties.
